The John McGregor Collection - Gallery of the most damaged images

Here below is a selection of some of the more damaged plates (quarter plates and half plates) which we received as "extras" in a separate box. These are not part of the 426 images collection we bought by public donation but came as an "added bonus". Many of these are worthy of repair and we hope that viewers might recognise people or places and let us know [info@crieffmuseum.org.uk].

The images, as they are sorted, cleaned and scanned, are being marshalled in our offsite galleries. Please visit the first exports here: https://casm.dphoto.com/album/c02fbp

This one looks like a chilly winter roup. The daylight must have been poor as the exposure was too long for a capturing a crowd of milling people without blurring. It would nice to think the harmonium found a new home.
