ANN McINTOSH - Interim Chairman

For most of her life, Ann has lived in Perthshire; near Comrie from 1961 and moving to Fowlis Wester in 1993. She now lives in Dunning.

Always interested in politics, as Ann Cowan, she was elected to Perth & Kinross Council in 2003, representing the Strathearn Ward until her retirement in 2017.

After she was widowed, Ann remarried and is now Ann McIntosh. She has two daughters and seven grandchildren. Her interests include: Gardening, walking, history, politics, antiques and cooking.

MARNIE GAULD - Vice Chairman

Marnie feels she is lucky to have been raised in Crieff and has an interest in local and Scottish history.

JOHN COWIE - Secretary

Originally from Aberdeen via university in Glasgow, John worked as HR Director in the NHS in various parts of Scotland including 18 years in Tayside. He also worked for 8 years in Scottish Government and is now a semi-retired HR consultant.

John has always had a keen interest in Scottish history and culture; antiquarian maps and medieval coinage. Other interests include travel, current affairs and a high maintenance collie who needs lots of exercise. John lives between Crieff and Comrie, and has two grown up daughters and four young grandchildren.

NEIL RODAN - Treasurer

Originally from Galloway, Neil moved to Comrie in 1999. He has recently retired from a career in IT. Neil enjoys heritage generally and museums in particular. He also enjoys music, cooking and hillwalking.

EWEN HONEYMAN - Trustee

Originally from the west coast, Ewen is a retired businessman. He spent the latter part of his career working in Edinburgh and moved to Crieff in 2001.

Ewen has much experience in business and finance, which the board values greatly.

DAVE FERGUSON - Trustee

Dave, who lives in Crieff, is committed to helping portray Strathearn's rich heritage and its part in Scotland's history. He has had a life long interest in local history, especially the railways. He played a key role in the mounting of the Strathearn's Railways exhibition in the autumn of 2019.

Before he changed career, to drive trains on the national rail network, Dave was a Countryside Ranger, involved in developing different styles of interpretation, which will inform his work with C&SM. Other volunteering Dave has done includes monthly visits to the Strathspey Railway, where he took part in track laying on the Broomhill section, as well as some time on the footplate.
