It is the policy of Crieff & Strathearn Museum to promptly suspend access to web content that is subject to complaint during the period in which the complaint is assessed and verified, in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act 2000 and the EU Copyright Directive 2001.

Though every effort is made to ensure that material posted on this site is legal and respects the rights of individuals and copyright holders, we cannot guarantee that we eliminate all risk of infringing people's rights when reporting on public events and showing materials of general interest.

If someone feels their rights have been infringed by the content of this website we ask that they submit a Notice of complaint to info@crieffmuseum.org.uk using the following format:

Full name, address, telephone number and email address of the complainant

Identification of the item(s) which is the subject of the complaint

Where the nature of the complaint is about an alleged infringement of copyright/author's rights/related rights, please describe the protected material in as much detail as possible so that the specific content may be clearly identified. Indicate the category for protection under intellectual property law and specify exactly the extent of use, e.g. by quoting text that has been reproduced.

  • Are the creator of and have moral rights to the protected material
